Bellever Tor - a view with your brew
Bellever TorBellever Tor All Tors are worth the climb (especially if you get tea and chocolate at the top!) but Bellever Tor is particularly so with panoramic views in all directions.
The Tor is said to be the geometric centre of Tors and maybe this was why it was chosen as a major prehistoric settlement.
Bellever Tor is a great example of an avenue Tor which is one that has 3 or 4 piles that monopolise the area. Whether one has to climb all of these to say one has conquered the tor is under debate in our family and opinions also seem to be very weather dependent!
